ITINERARY
DAY 1: MONDAY ATHENS
Arrival at E. Venizelos, the Athens International Airport, where you are met by Passepartout expert personnel and transferred to your hotel. Accommodation on bed and breakfast basis. Rest of the day at leisure
DAY 2: TUESDAY ATHENS (B)
Breakfast at hotel and departure for a morning Athens city tour: This tour gives you the opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympia of the new Era took place in 1896 (short photo stop). Continue and pass by the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian's Arch and on the Constitution Square (Syntagma) we see the Parliament with the memorial to the Unknown Soldier. Continue with panoramic of the Academy, the University and the National Library, We visit the Acropolis sacred hill to see the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally "the harmony between material and spirit", the monument that "puts order in the mind", the Parthenon.
Continue and visit the place where at last the statues found their home and admire the wonders of the classical era: The new Acropolis museum. Return to your hotel after visits are completed. Rest of the day at leisure.
DAY 3: WEDNESDAY: ATHENS - OLYMPIA (B, D)
After breakfast (included) at hotel, leave on air conditioned motor coach by the coastal road to the Corinth Canal (short stop). Drive on and visit the Theatre of Epidaurus, famous for its remarkable acoustics. Then proceed to the town of Nauplion (short photo stop), drive on to Mycenae and visit the Archaeological Site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. Then depart for Olympia through Central Peloponnese and the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Overnight in Olympia, the cradle of the Olympic Games. (Dinner)
DAY 4: THURSDAY OLYMPIA - DELPHI (B, D)
Breakfast at hotel and visit the Archaeological Site with the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium and the Archaeological Museum. Then drive on through the plains of Helia and Achaia until the magnificent bridge which is crossing the Corinthian Bay from Rion to Antirion. Pass by the picturesque towns of Nafpactos (Lepanto) and Itea, arrive in Delphi. Overnight. (Dinner)
DAY 5: FRIDAY DELPHI - METEORA (B, D)
In the morning, after breakfast at hotel, visit the Archaeological Site and the Museum. Depart for Kalambaka, a small town stated at the foot of the astonishing complex of Meteora, gigantic rocks. Overnight. (Dinner)
DAY 6: SATURDAY METEORA - ATHENS (B)
After breakfast, visit Meteora, among striking scenery, perched on top of huge rocks which seem to be suspended in mid-air, stand ageless Monasteries, where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (short stop to see across the road the Leonida's Monument). Arrive in Athens early in the evening.
DAY 7: MONDAY, ATHENS- 4 DAY CRUISE - MYKONOS (B, L, D)
Transfer to Piraeus after breakfast at hotel, to embark the 4 day cruise. Ship departs at 11.00 to Mykonos Island. Arrival at 18:00. Mykonos is the most cosmopolitan of the Greek Islands and, during summer attracts lots of visitors from all over the world, especially artists and intellectuals. Enjoy your time walking around in the narrow cobbled streets of "Hora" the island's capital, passing by chic boutiques, elegant nightclubs and white–washed houses. until reaching the "Little Venice" of Mykonos with houses built on the sea, with wooden balconies that evoke Venice and were homes of wealthy merchants and captains. Return then back to the port to meet your ship. Departure at 23:00
DAY 8: TUESDAY, KUSADASI (TURKEY) 07:00-12:00 -PATMOS 16:00-21:00 (B, L, D)
Early morning arrival at Kusadasi, the most popular Turkish port, a few kilometres from the ancient city of Ephesus. We recommend you the guided tour (optional) to Ephesus and the house of Virgin Mary.
Arrival in the afternoon, at the island of Patmos. Here you can visit (optional) the Monastery of St. John and the grout where John, the Apostle has written the Book of Revelations
DAY 9: WEDNESDAY, RHODES (07:00-18:00)
Early arrival to the island of Apollo: Rhodes. Here you can enjoy a very interesting excursion (optional) to Lindos village, with its amazing Acropolis and breathtaking views to Aegean Sea or to explore on your own the Medieval city rounded by the Knights castles....
DAY 10: THURSDAY HERAKLION (CRETE) 07:00-11:30 - SANTORINI 16:00-21:00 (B, L, D)
Arrival early in the morning at Heraklion, Crete. This is an excellent opportunity to discover the town on your own or to join the (optional) excursion to the Minoan Palace of Knossos, followed by a visit to the Heraklion Museum.
Departure to the island of Santorini, the land of the mythical Atlantis. Enjoy your time walking through the narrow streets of the town, with the breathtaking views of the volcano.
DAY 11: FRIDAY PIRAEUS - ATHENS (B)
Breakfast on board. Arrival at Piraeus 6:30, the main Greek port where you are met and transferred to your hotel in Athens. Day at leisure. Join a night tour in Athens (optional) with folklore show and dinner)
DAY 12: SATURDAY, ATHENS-DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast at hotel, and transfer at the airport for your departure flight.

DAILY
DAY 1: Athens
Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your selected hotel. Balance of the day at leisure.
DAY 2: Athens (B)
Morning sightseeing tour of Athens including all famous monuments: the Panathenaic Stadium, the ex. Royal Palace, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library and the Constitution Square (Syntagma). Tour ends with visit at the Acropolis and the New Acropolis Museum (except Mondays). Balance of the day at leisure.
DAY 3: Athens - Santorini (B)
At the indicated time, you will be transferred to the port in order to embark the ferry to Santorini. Upon your arrival on the island, transfer to your selected hotel and rest of the day at leisure.
DAY 4: Santorini (B)
Day at leisure at the most breathtaking island. Admire the town of Fira's white-washed houses, narrow streets and open air cafes that cling to a steep cliff accessible by cable car or mule.
DAY 5: Santorini - Heraklio (B)
At the indicated time, you will be transferred to the port in order to embark the ferry to Heraklio. Upon your arrival on the island, transfer to your selected hotel.
DAY 6: Heraklio (B)
Day at leisure to explore this beautiful island, the largest of the Greek islands. Heraklion, Agios Nikolaos, Chania, Elounda, Rethymno and the Gorge of Samaria are only few of Crete's attractions. Archaeological treasures, magnificent ruins and museums, glorious beaches and fabulous restaurants make Crete a complete vacation spot.
DAY 7: Rhodes - Heraklio (B)
At the indicated time, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Rhodes. Upon your arrival on the island, transfer to your selected hotel.
DAY 8: Rhodes (B)
Day at leisure in Rhodes, the beautiful island of Roses. Situated in the southeast part of the Mediterranean Sea, Rhodes is a highly tourist oriented place, offering its visitors a combination of great history, marvellous beaches, a variety of great night spots and fascinating duty free shopping. Above all you should not miss the opportunity to visit the Old Medieval town and the Castle of the Knights.
DAY 9: Rhodes - Athens (B)
At the indicated time, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Athens. Upon your arrival you will check in at the hotel " Sofitel Athens Airport", located inside the airport. Balance of the day at leisure.
DAY 10: Athens - Airport (B)
After breakfast, check in for your departure flight.
